Can I blend dry ingredients in the Ace Blender?
Yes, you can blend dry ingredients. When blending dry goods such as bread crumbs, make sure the pitcher, lid, and blades are completely dry.
Begin blending on medium (Med) speed. As ingredients break down, you may increase the blending speed.
How should I process raw vegetables?
Add at least ¼ cup (60mL / 2oz) cool water to the pitcher along with chopped vegetables, and blend in small batches under 1000mL.

Will the Ace Blender start by itself?

How do I clean the blender?
- Fill the pitcher with 1400mL hot water.
- Add a few drops of dish soap.
- Secure the lid and lid cap.
- Press Pulse/Clean.
- Discard contents after program completes and rinse with clear water.
How does the Pulse/Clean key work?
The blender will run 4 cycles of blending at high speed for 10 seconds, with 4-second pauses between pulses.
This program can be used to remove superficial food debris from the pitcher when cleaning, and can also be used with food ingredients that you may not want to over-process, such as spinach.
How does the Pause key work?
The Pause key may be used to put a blending program on hold momentarily.
For example, to add ingredients when using the Soup program, press Pause. You will see -P- appear on the display while a program is paused. Press Pause again to resume the program.
How does the Cancel key work?
Press Cancel at any time to end a blending program.
How do I turn the Ace Blender OFF?
Press Cancel to ensure the Ace is in Standby mode. Unplug when not in use.

How do I make soy milk?
- You can soak soybeans in water for up to 1 hour. Strain, discard soaking water and rinse with clear water — remove any skins if desired.
- Remove the lid from the pitcher. Add ¾ cup (112g) soybeans and 1400mL (47oz) cold water to the pitcher. Secure the lid to the pitcher.
- Select Soy Milk program. After 5 seconds, the blender will beep 3 times, and the countdown will begin once the target temperature is reached.
- When the program has completed, the blender will beep 10 times and display will show “donE”.
Optionally, remove the lid and cool, then filter beverage through the strainer bag.
Refrigerate up to 4 days.
Do I need to soak soybeans or other nuts and seeds before processing?
Soaking is not necessary, however, it is helpful in removing skins and generally results in a creamier beverage.
How do I make rice milk?
- Remove the lid from the pitcher. Add ½ cup (75g) rice, 1 tsp (5mL) oil, and 1400mL (47oz) cold water to the pitcher. Secure the lid to the pitcher.
- Select Rice Milk program.
Toggle to: 1 – White rice press once 2 – Brown rice press twice - When the program has completed, the blender will beep 10 times and display will show “donE”.
Optionally, remove the lid and cool, then filter beverage through the strainer bag.
Refrigerate up to 4 days.
Why should I add oil when preparing rice milk?
Soybeans, nuts, and seeds, all contain natural fats which help to “bind” the beverage and prevent liquids from separating. Rice does not contain any natural fats, so adding oil (which emulsifies when blended) helps bind the rice and milk to create a creamy consistency.
How do I make oat milk?
- Remove the lid from the pitcher. Add 1 cup (150g) oats, 1 tsp (5mL) oil, and 1400mL cold water to the pitcher. Secure the lid to the pitcher.
- Select Nut/Oat Milk program.
- When the program has completed, the blender will beep 10 times and display will show “donE”. Optionally, remove the lid and filter your beverage through the strainer bag.
Chill and serve.

How do I make nut milk?
- We recommend soaking nuts or seeds in water for at least 1 hour, up to 24 hours. Strain, discard soaking water and rinse with clear water—remove any skins or husks if desired.

Can the Ace Blender replace a juice extractor?
Yes. However, the Ace blends fruit and vegetables whole, so it is advisable to select foods for juicing that have a high water content, such as berries, pineapples, apples, oranges, and tomatoes. If juicing fibrous foods such as carrots or beets, additional liquid will be required to facilitate blending.
Strain after blending, or drink unfiltered for maximum nutritional value.

Why did the blender stop blending?

Can I use the food tamper to tamp hot and cold contents?
Yes. Press Pause, then remove the lid cap and insert the tamper. Push food ingredients from the sides of the pitcher towards the blades.
Can I set a custom temperature?
No, blending programs on the Ace are not adjustable.

What should I do if the Ace Blender stops blending mid-program?
If the Ace stops blending mid-program, it typically indicates that the contents are too thick. When this happens, you may see the error code E01 appear on the display.
- Remove and re-seat the pitcher on the blender base.
- Remove the lid cap from the lid, insert the food tamper through the opening, and push the food ingredients down towards the blades.
- Optionally, add liquid to facilitate blending.
Note: When adding larger food items, try selecting the Pulse/Clean or Ice Crushed programs.

The black seal in the lid is made of FDA approved, food grade silicone rubber.
Can I take the pitcher apart for cleaning?
No, the pitcher is sealed and cannot be taken apart. To clean the pitcher:
- Fill the pitcher with 1400mL hot water.
- Add a few drops of dish soap.
- Secure the lid and lid cap.
- Press Pulse/Clean.
- Discard contents after program completes and rinse with clear water.
What is the quality of the stainless steel in the pitcher?
The pitcher’s bottom is comprised of grade 304 (18/8) stainless steel, while the blades are grade 301 for hardness. The stainless steel is compliant with FDA standards.
Why does the stainless steel have rainbow or blueish-white staining?
The discoloration on the stainless steel is often called “rainbowing” and can be caused by exposure to high heat, cooking starchy food (e.g. rice, pasta) or even detergent staining after washing. This is common and normal in all stainless steel cookware and is safe to cook with.
To remove staining, unplug the blender and add 1 cup of white vinegar to the pitcher, and scrub the affected area with the cleaning brush.
Is the Ace Blender BPA-free?
The lid is comprised of an FDA-approved polypropylene, suitable for the Ace blender’s boiling temperatures.
Note: Because BPA-free plastics have a low melting point, they are not suitable for cooking.
Is the Ace Blender dishwasher safe?
The lid and lid cap of the blender are dishwasher safe.
The pitcher and the blender base must be washed by hand and must not be submerged in liquid.
What is the quality of the 8 stainless steel blades?
The blades are comprised of grade 301 (18/) stainless steel, compliant with FDA standards.
What is the quality of the glass pitcher?
The glass pitcher is comprised of heat resistant tempered glass. This type of glass is professional-grade, and can safety make contact with extreme heat and extreme cold.
How often should the black silicone seal on the lid be removed for cleaning?
The black silicone seal should be cleaned after each use and should be removed for cleaning every few blending cycles to ensure that food is not trapped beneath it.
How can I remove odors from the lid?
Due to the porous nature of silicone, odors can become trapped in the black silicone seal on the lid. To remove odors, remove the black silicone seal from the lid and allow to soak in a mixture of 1:1 white vinegar and hot water for at least 1 hour, up to 24 hours. Rinse with clear, warm water.
Are there any foods one must be cautious of, or that cannot be prepared in the Ace Blender?
Do not use carbonated liquids as they may foam beyond the pitcher’s capacity.
Do not attempt to make oat milk with a hot blending program.
Do not attempt to make milk from nuts or seeds with a hot blending program.
Remove stones, pits, and hard seeds from fruits before blending.
Foods with shells should have shells removed before blending.
What does E01 mean?
E01 is an error code that indicates the motor has overheated. This could be the result of being run for too long, or if the contents are too thick. Refer to Troubleshooting.
Can I place the Ace Blender on a stovetop or close to a heat source?
No, do not place the blender on or near a hot stovetop, gas range or electric burner. Do not place it on, near, or in a heated oven, as this will damage the blender.
