Smell and smoke on initial use
Possible Reason: Heating of protective substance that was applied to heating element during manufacturing | Solution: No action required. It is normal and harmless. This usually occurs on first use.
Unable to change program when a cooking program is in progress
Possible Reason: Once the selected cooking program is started, it cannot be switched to another cooking program| Solution: Press “Cancel” key to cancel the previous cooking program and select a new program.
Unable to adjust temperature on Slow Cook and Steam Smart Programs
Possible Reason: Slow Cook and Steam cooking temperatures are not adjustable. | Solution: Choose a longer or shorter cooking time, as required by the recipe.
The Stew temperature is lower than boiling temperature
Possible Reason: The Stew program will preheat to boiling for 10 minutes, and then reduce the temperature for the remainder of the cooking time. | Solution: Any customization will only be applied to the second phase of the Stew cooking process
Do “Roast” and “Bake” programs cook at the same temperature?
Possible Reason: Although the pre-set temperatures of “Bake” and “Roast” are the same, “Roast” has a 10 minute cooking period at a higher temperature, then drops to a lower cooking temperature for the remaining cooking time. | Solution: Choose the function that best suits your recipe.
Error Code on Screen
Possible Reason 1: E01 – Sensor is disconnected | Solution: Unplug the multicooker from electrical outlet, wait 30 seconds, then re-plug power cord to outlet
Possible Reason 2: E02 – Sensor is short-circuited | Solution: If the error code remains, contact the Customer Care Team
No sound
Possible Reason: Sound may be turned OFF | Solution: Press and hold + under Time for 5 seconds—note the icons for “Sound ON” and “Sound OFF”.
Plug does not fit fully into outlet
Possible Reason 1: Prong may have become misshapen | Solution: Ensure outlet has a grounding socket
Possible Reason 2: Outlet may not have a grounding socket | Solution: Plug the cooker into a different outlet—if the issue persists, consult a qualified electrician and contact the Customer Care Team
